“In the vast ocean of vintage goods, we took a deep-dive to bring its hidden treasures to the shore. We called our mission S.H.W.A.G.”
S.H.W.A.G., an acronym for Second-Hand Wardrobe, Accessories and Goods, is a new designer vintage fair taking place in Brussels, Belgium. It’s mission: to bring together under one roof some of the best physical and online vintage shops from Europe and beyond.
Its first edition will take place in Hôtel Le Berger, a 1940s renovated art deco hotel, where 18 selected vintage stores will each set up shop in one of the unique rooms of the hotel.
On 16-17-18 September 2022, vintage enthusiasts can come to discover a selection of designer and hand-made unsigned pieces from different era’s and in a wide range of styles.
Unlike standard fairs, the setting of S.H.W.A.G. is intimate, cosy and personal, as visitors can go from one room to the next, to discover each time a unique universe as presented to us by the participating vintage shops.
S.H.W.A.G. is a project created by vintage store owners Laetitia Jeurissen and Liezl Vervloet, who respectively run Heterodoxa and Pomchili vintage, with the intention of building a network of support, admiration and solidarity between vintage businesses across the globe.
S.H.W.A.G.’s first edition will take place in Hôtel Le Berger. Originally built in the 1930’s by Mr. Gabriel Duhoux, this art-deco inspired hotel was conceived of as a secret hide-out in the middle of the city of Brussels, where lovers could discreetly meet for the hour or the night. With a separate entrance and exit, two elevators - one that could go up, the other one down - and its labyrinth-like, dimly lit corridors, the hotel provided the necessary architectural elements so as not to be noticed going in and out with your confidant(e).
In 2012 the hotel was renovated with the intention of honouring its promiscuous past and its authentic art deco interiors. Each floor of the hotel counts 10 unique rooms, named after female ghosts from the past, with their own style, character and configuration. In the spirit of the “maison de rendez-vous”, frivolous elements like open bathrooms, curtain divisions inside the rooms, mirrors around the bathtub and luscious wallpaper were preserved.
With its rich history and its fabulous interiors, Hôtel Le Berger seemed the perfect place to host S.H.W.A.G.’s very first edition in Brussels. In keen with the vintage spirit of the hotel and the many stories hidden in its walls, our designer vintage fair will provide the quintessential wardrobe for this magical setting.

Catalogue (DE) is as a berlin-based online shop and quite literal catalogue of vintage and designer pieces sold and collected by brandi alarcón since 2010. What began as a personal passion and private hobby developed slowly over time as a full-fledged business, with particular interest in belgian designers, ie ann demeulemeester, martin margiela, walter van beirendonck, etc. and various defunct fashion labels of yesteryear. The thrill of the hunt, the find, and the adoration that ensues is what keeps the fire burning. catalogue <3s u

Pomchili (BE) is an Antwerp based online store owned by Liezl Vervloet. On 6 november 2017 the first pictures were launched on instagram and from that day pomchili has been a platform where Liezl creates a specific environment by staying close to her own style and identity. We strongly believe in the power of buying second hand as it is the most sustainable way of shopping and as a bonus: we don’t do trends that come and go, we sell iconic designer/statement pieces from the 90’s and 00’s that will never go out of fashion.
Satori Vintage (NL) ; owned by Luka, Faye and Lara started as an initiative to sell clothing they didn’t wear anymore. But then they discovered how much they loved sourcing unique pieces and selling them. From selling on instagram to doing a first pop up a few months ago. They also private source for people and Luka is their in house stylist. They are here for you with all that is fashion related. Focusing on vintage/second hand designer and underground brands. Such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Xuly.Bët, Roberto Cavalli and many more.
The quote that embodies satori vintage is: clothing has no gender, wear what you feel confident and comfortable in.

We Found It vintage (FR) is an inspiring and inspiring project that puts forward a circular economy for the benefit of fashion. The word vintage doesn't rhyme here with retro, it's rather a selection made from our vision of fashion and not the one from the past. From the timeless to the most high end or fashion forward, we offer pieces for her/him/they, from designers who inspire us a lot -Jean Paul Gaultier, Versace, Moschino, Alexander McQueen, Plein Sud and many others- but also unique vintage and second hand items. As dressing is one of the first means of expression, we want everyone to reveal their uniqueness, to be confident, bold, beautiful and sexy. We Found It Vintage is then our way to contribute a bit to this accomplishment.
